Lisa M. Abela-Tesner, MA, LPC, MHS, Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor 

Lisa Tesner is a Counselor with a Master’s Degree from Oakland University. She has over 7 years of clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of disorders. Lisa has worked in a variety of settings, from community mental health agencies, private practice counseling organizations, to hospital and substance abuse treatment clinics. Lisa’s experience allows her to work with a broad range of psychological concerns with adults, children, and adolescents.
Lisa is experienced and dedicated to providing quality care for children and families. Lisa works towards helping clients enhance their insight and problem solving skills, with an emphasis on solution-focused techniques in addition to developing coping skills in order to improve their quality of life.

Kristy M Kah, MA, LLPC, Therapist, Limited Licensed Professional Counselor

Kristy Kah is a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master’s Degree from Oakland University. In addition, Kristy holds an advanced specialization in treating children, adolescence, and their families. She believes it takes a special set of skills to engage and build rapport with today’s youth; recognizing family concerns, school/peer pressures, social media use, and individual development as primary challenges facing our youth today. Kristy believes that every individual benefits differently through the counseling process. For this reason, she sees herself as not only a therapist, but also an educator, motivator, and assistant through life’s greatest struggles.   

Kristy is dedicated to providing quality care for all individuals she meets.  She will work with you to create a treatment plan that fits your individual needs with focus on developing the necessary coping skills to improve your quality of life.
