Lisa M. Abela-Tesner, MA, LPC, MHS, Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor
Lisa Tesner is a Counselor with a Master’s Degree from Oakland University. She has over 7 years of clinical experience in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of disorders. Lisa has worked in a variety of settings, from community mental health agencies, private practice counseling organizations, to hospital and substance abuse treatment clinics. Lisa’s experience allows her to work with a broad range of psychological concerns with adults, children, and adolescents.
Lisa is experienced and dedicated to providing quality care for children and families. Lisa works towards helping clients enhance their insight and problem solving skills, with an emphasis on solution-focused techniques in addition to developing coping skills in order to improve their quality of life.
